¿What is a Resilience Center?
Years of responding to climate, environmental, political, and social crises, together with insights gathered through community surveys conducted by Taller Salud across Puerto Rico, inspired us to expand our services to other regions of the archipelago, beginning with the south and southwest.
This vision gave rise to the Taller Salud Resilience Center network. Each Center provides a physical space for collaboration, shared leadership, and mutual support with partner organizations and community groups, serving neighboring communities and municipalities.

The Resilience Center Network
Each Center is a space for connection, learning, and community action, with a dedicated team focused on the unique needs of the communities in each region we serve.
We are also renovating what will become Taller Salud’s new headquarters in the municipality of Río Grande.

In the municipality we have called home for decades, this Resilience Centers serves communities across Puerto Rico’s northeastern region.

San Germán
Communities in southwestern Puerto Rico have a home in our newly acquired and restored building in the Maresúa community. Join us for our next activity.

The neighboring municipality of our beloved Loíza will soon be home to Taller Salud’s new headquarters. Stay tuned for the grand opening!

Salinas
Through a partnership with the Municipality of Salinas, we are renovating the former Maestra Matilde Rivera Amadeo School, located in the historic Las Ochenta neighborhood. Our community kitchen is open to the community. Come visit us!
