Our Work - Initiative
Women & Health
We create initiatives and provide services focused on health, well-being, and the prevention of gender-based violence among women, youth, and girls. Projects such as Tu Paz Cuenta (Your Peace Matters), Community Health Promoters, and Afrocaribeñas (Afro-Caribbean) are part of the feminist fabric that envisions and works toward the dignity, autonomy, emancipation, and freedom of women in Puerto Rico.

Afro-descendant women and their communities are at the heart of our work. We provide services and support to prevent and reduce gender-based violence and help ensure lives of dignity and wholeness.
How We Do It
Our Projects
Your Peace Matters
We provide psychological and psychosocial services to survivors of gender-based violence, prioritizing individual and collective healing and liberation.
Community Health Promoters
We provide training for women and women leaders to reduce health inequities, build knowledge around holistic health, and strengthen our network of community health workers.
Afro-Caribbean Women
Through art, popular education, and play, we cultivate leadership and mentor young Afro-Puerto Rican organizers and activists committed to gender equity and anti-racist work.
